Audit and Accounting Services
We employ what we call the “business approach” to auditing. We believe that sound auditing is achieved through understanding one’s client’s business and the manner and environment in which they operate. Accordingly, our staff continuing education programme is designed not only to develop people who are expert in their particular disciplines such as accounting, auditing, tax, and the like, but to ensure that such staff member has an in-depth understanding of business conditions and is able to view his clients with the understanding of a businessman.
The result is an audit which extends beyond recorded accounting entries to an understanding of the underlying transactions. An additional benefit of this approach is that we are often able to identify opportunities or anticipate problems in advance of their occurrence and then recommend appropriate action to the clients.
We believe that professional judgement continues to be essential in effectively responding to business situations. Taxation Consulting Service
We are concerned not only with ensuring compliance with the Nigerian legal requirements but also with enabling our clients to obtain maximum benefits from the relevant national legislation. Our tax personnel are alert to changes in legislation, administrative ruling or court decisions which might affect our client’s business.

Our company provides a series of other services which are grouped as Management Consultancy. This is handled by our affiliate company – LivingStone & Associates Limited. We recognize that the executives and senior management of an organisation know more about their particular business than an outsider or consultant is ever likely to know. However, the outsider’s expertise in his business and our specialist skills in management methods, our breadth and range of experience and our professional independence are all complementary. Our work may confirm and streamline the managers’ views on a certain problem or identify new solution and improvements.

As a firm, we forensically review, with specialised computer program the transaction history of our client’s accounts with their Bankers and assist them to recover all charges spuriously debited or transferred into their accounts and which in most cases are substantial. The aforementioned underscore the importance of our services. Our Partner led a team of Consultants that recovered close to N800 Million from 4 banks in respect of an account of a Federal parastatal some years ago.
